Santa Clara

Home to Intel headquarters and the San Francisco 49ers, Santa Clara is a bright-eyed city to play a little harder than you work.

Why Santa Clara?

Parks, eats and so much to do

Just southeast of San Francisco, Santa Clara has the idyllic balmy climate of Silicon Valley. It’s also home to plenty of attractions: In the expansive 52 acres of Central Park, you’ll find picnic spots and play areas, not to mention the Santa Clara Community Recreation Center with a series of youth programs.

A Day in Santa Clara

At Rivermark Village and nearby Mission College, cozy cafés and sizzling bistros abound. You can also catch a show at Santa Clara’s most popular theater, AMC Mercado.

On the weekend (or a day off,) take a trip to the Great America Amusement Park, where you’ll find entertainment and excitement with Gold Striker—the tallest wooden coaster in Northern California, standing at 108.2 feet.

For those seeking a more easygoing afternoon, swing by the Triton Museum of Arts, which is both charming and free to enter. If you plan ahead, you can take an arts or crafts class at the four-wing museum, or attend an auction or a taco tailgate.
