Foster City

Alongside the hectic pace of Silicon Valley, Foster City is known for its homey vibe and many parks, gardens and trails.

Why Foster City?

Welcome to your bayside getaway

Foster City is, in many ways, an ideal retreat from the city. Like its neighbors, Foster City has a mild Mediterranean climate. It’s also one of the safest cities in the nation. Plus, all four of Foster City’s public schools have won California Distinguished School awards.

A Day in Foster City

Though it’s a mostly residential area, there’s no shortage of parks and space to move in Foster City. Head over to Leo J. Ryan Memorial Park for tennis and basketball courts, a boardwalk and a charming boat launch. The Bay Meadows Park offers 12 acres with a baseball diamond, public gardens and a lawn-bowling green.

Interwoven with charming waterways, Foster City is nestled right on the edge of the bay, bringing in plenty of fresh, salty air. You can soak in the sunshine and the sound of calm, flowing water with a short walk to just about anywhere.
