Summer technically ends in September, but most of us consider Labor Day weekend to be the season's last hurrah. With the end of summer in sight, it's time to enjoy the final days of sun and warmth. And you don't even have to get away to do it – there's lots of fun to be had right without leaving home.
If you haven't met our friend Ollie yet, now's your last chance. Promethean Neighbors will see him on the weekends during summer. Ollie is our complimentary poolside refreshment station – and he has sunscreen, towels, magazines and ice-cold beverages ready to make the perfect respite for you.
While you're at the pool, get creative and go beyond sunbathing and cannonballs. Host a squirt gun fight, make a movie with an inexpensive waterproof camera or practice your yoga underwater. You can even bring a few guests – check with your Neighborhood team for the details.
Too cool for the pool? Head over to the barbecue area for some al fresco dining – a great option if you have a bigger crew to entertain. Let the office know if you'd like to reserve it!
For those that like the high life, why not spend your final summer days on the rooftop? We have a few Neighborhoods with rooftop decks that will help you take the fun past sunset:
Madera in Mountain View, CA: Rooftop deck has two communal tables, a barbecue grill, lounge seating, sandpit and fireplace.
Hearth in Santa Clara, CA: This rooftop (pictured above) is where it's at for fun in the sun. Take in dazzling views from the 7th floor rooftop under Tivoli lights, while grilling, swimming or simply sunbathing.
10th at Hoyt in Portland, OR: Soak in the spa while watching the sunset, or host a cookout with the outdoor kitchen and barbecue area.
Our newest Neighborhoods (like Montrose in Mountain View, Ironworks in Sunyvale, Cobalt in Santa Clara and 100 Moffett in Mountain View) will all have rooftop decks too!
Enjoy those final days of summer, and let us know if you'd like to reserve an amenity for an end-of-summer Labor Day party.
