Prometheus Designated A Certified B Corporation

We are proud to announce that Prometheus has been recognized and designated as a Certified B Corporation – the largest multi-family company in the world to achieve this certification. As a B Corporation, we join a group of companies that believe in business as a force of good in the world.

B Corp certification is not easy. Over the past eight months, we have worked to provide data for their rigorous standards and requirements and responded to 200 of their important questions. This selective process is for good reason—any B Corp must meet far-reaching standards related to the well-being of employees, customers, suppliers, communities, and the environment.

We are now part of a global movement: a group of more than 3,400 purpose-driven organizations in more than 150 industries in 71 countries. We share a common purpose with international businesses like Patagonia, Ben & Jerry’s, Tom’s of Maine, and Allbirds. Closer to home, we can count Bi-Rite, Equator Coffee (SF), and New Seasons (PDX) as contemporaries. We intend to leverage this network of like-minded companies in our future work.
