Good Gatherings: Home For The Holidays Wreath Workshop

There’s no place like home for the holidays. To help our Neighbors kick off the Season of Merry Making and spread a little cheer, we hosted a series of wreath workshops along the west coast.  

Our first stop was at Saltwood Apartments in the Slabtown neighborhood of Portland, OR, where Neighbors were led through a full wreath-making workshop by our friends at Pistils Nursery, a local favorite. We then strolled down to the Bay Area for two additional regional stops at Trestle Apartments in San Carlos, and The Benton Apartments in Santa Clara. Matilda's Bloombox, a lovely local floral delivery, and curator of all things magical joined us for both occasions.  

We welcomed two extraordinary guests at The Benton - JW House of Santa Clara and Ronald McDonald Charity House of Palo Alto. In the true philanthropic spirit of the holidays, we were delighted to donate additional wreaths for both groups to take back to brighten the days of the families they serve.

These events marked our return to in-person Good Gatherings for the first time in two years. There’s nothing like connecting with Neighbors with good food, warm conversation, and happy memories. We look forward to an exciting lineup of more Good Gatherings in 2022.
