Explore Bellevue and Gig Harbor: 4th of July

Break out the hot dogs and sunscreen, Independence Day is upon us. We’ve put together a list of family-friendly recommendations for how to spend your holiday weekend.

Explore Bellevue and Gig Harbor: 4th of July
Bellevue 4th of July Fireworks

While this year’s fireworks display will look a little bit different (no entertainment or activities before the big show), we have no doubt it will be just as spectacular. The fireworks will go off at approximately 10:05 p.m. from the Downtown area and last for 15-17 minutes. Settle in at Bellevue Downtown Park for the best view. You can also catch a live stream if watching from home is more your speed.

Gig Harbor Wings and Wheels

Head over to the Tacoma Narrows Airport for a different kind of air show. Instead of fireworks, look up to the sky and see moves and maneuvers from some of the most talented flight performers in America. Featuring the U.S. Navy legacy flight, the T-33 Shooting Star, and the Sukhoi SU-29, the annual air show is a great way to start your holiday weekend.

Red, White, and KABOOM Drive-In Fireworks Celebration

Puyallup is celebrating a day early with their annual 3rd of July fireworks spectacular. During the day, enjoy family-friendly fun on the fairgrounds with food trucks and a classic car show. When the sun dips below the horizon, head back to your car for a flashy fireworks show.
