Adventure Awaits: Introducing The Lagoons Paddle Club
Designed for adventure and crafted for explorers, The
Lagoons in Foster City is home to our newest amenity. Now Neighbors that
live at this waterfront collection of apartment homes can rent one of our
kayaks or paddleboards – free of charge!
Introducing The Paddle Club – our very own fleet of
seaworthy (okay, okay … lagoon worthy) vessels.
No need to leave home on the weekends, or be stuck at the
gym when the sun is shining. Now everything you need for your next excursion (or
workout) is right at your doorstep.
Boat naming started over a thousand years ago, with sailors
naming their vessels after saints, gods, and goddesses to bring good fortune to
their journeys. We continued that tradition, but we sought out famous
watercrafts from cinema and literature as inspiration for our names. See if you
can guess the origin of each name below:
- Jenny
- Nautilus
- Orca
- Jolly Roger
- S.S. Minnow
- Poseidon
And of course, we thought of our furry friends when crafting this new program. In addition to providing a standard life vest for you, we made sure to include an option for your salty dog.
So break out the sunscreen and wander down to The Lagoons. We’ll see you on the water!
